Vancouver-based Celina co-owns Urban Shaman Entheobotanicals, a Vancouver store that provides sacred and medicinal plants and literature and art dedicated to shamanic and entheogenic culture, and Soma Institute, a retreat dedicated to celebrating and preserving sacred plant medicines, along with her partner, cannabis activist and author Chris Bennett. She leads Gunjah Yoga & Meditation retreats and workshops and facilitates plant medicine ceremonies. Celina co-organized the Spirit Plant Medicine Conference in Vancouver, BC; worked on the Psychedelic Psychotherapy Conference in Victoria, BC; and organized and funded the first Psychedelic Symposium featuring all women speakers, through Women’s Sacred Medicine Alliance, a group she founded in 2019. “It is time to open up space for the women to speak,” she says.
Celina completed her certification in holistic nutrition at The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN) in 2010 and became a certified yoga teacher at the Mystical School of Yoga Teacher Training in Bali in 2018. She offers Gunjah yoga and Microdosing Master Plants workshops at One Love Healing Sanctuary and leads Return to Nature Ganja Retreats at The Sentinel (@thesentinelbc) in Kaslo, BC. She volunteers for the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies.
