Arlington, MA-based Caitlin Moakley is a plant medicine advocate, floral and fungal foodie and champion of conscious ingredients in personal care. “We each have a responsibility,” she says, “as consumers, retailers and creators, to learn how to honor the earth through conscious and considerate choices.”
Caitlin, received Cosmic Sister’s immersive Plant Spirit Grant in 2018 to experience traditional ayahuasca ceremonies at Temple of The Way of Light (@Temple ofTheWayofLight) in the Peruvian Amazon. Shortly upon returning home, she founded Soil and Spirit (@soilandspirit), an independent consultancy focusing on collaborating and creating with small businesses in the natural products industry and cannabis and psychedelic communities. She also taught her first class at Boston's Herbstalk (@herbstalk) and published her first article in Sensi Magazine (@sensimagazine), sharing natural body care wisdom and supports local entrepreneurs with hemp-based products made in New England. She was also featured in Sensi Magazine for her social media work helping successful Boomers embrace the world of Instagram.
In partnership with Spirit Plant Medicine Conference in Vancouver, BC, Nov 1 - 3, 2019, the Cosmic Sister Emerging Voices Award (CS EVA) increases visibility for talented women in the field of psychedelics and cannabis who work tirelessly in supportive, behind-the-scenes roles, as well as talented newcomers who shine in spotlight positions.
